Airwave Drones offers roof and general building inspections in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and the surrounding areas of Dorset and beyond.Using drones for conducting inspections and surveys is fast, safe and cost effective; eliminating the need for pricey and time consuming scaffolding we easily inspect hard to access areas of buildings or structures.

It's fast

A drone can be up in the air in seconds so you can see what you need to without waiting.

High resolution photo & video

Access your files whenever you need to and keep track of property maintenance.

It's safe

There is no need for anyone to leave the ground, reducing the risk to all involved.

Access hard-to-see areas

An eye in the sky will quickly get where you cannot!

No need for scaffolding

It’s time consuming and unsightly, not to mention pricey.

CAA approved

We are licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority and highly experienced in roof inspections.

Highly cost effective

Time is money and drones do it quicker, with fewer people to pay.

Flexible public liability insurance

£1m - 10m Public Liability covers all flights.

We will provide high resolution images and 4K video if required to give you all the information to make judgements on any maintenance or repairs that may need doing. Fast becoming the go-to method for inspecting hard to reach areas, we’ve been able to identify various issues for our clients to enable repairs on tiles, guttering and leaks. Also highlighting areas for maintenance which can solve problems before they develop.

All images are presented as high resolution JPEGs. Although editing is kept to a minimum so you can see everything as it really is, time is spent lightening shadows and enhancing the shots to give you the clearest picture. As well as general building inspections, drones are ideal for solar farms, masts and aerials and any difficult to reach areas - safely and quickly. The cost of a drone inspection is far less than scaffolding, not to mention much faster, safer and tidier.

Please note, we can only provide the imagery and not condition reports or make suggestions on what work should be carried out post-inspection. We are fully insured and registered to fly with the Civil Aviation Authority and conduct all aerial work in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Prior to inspections, an initial risk assessment will take place off-site if possible and then on-site before the flight to check for possible obstacles, power lines, etc. Flights can go up to 400ft (120m) above take-off point. If the location is within range of an airport or other flight restriction zone, we will gain the necessary permissions to conduct the work safely and legally.

Client Testimonial

"Over the last 6 months we have engaged Airwave Drones to undertake a number of drone surveys at our managed units and have been extremely happy with the service provided. The high quality photos/video has enabled us to reduce the costs normally associated with roof inspections and avoid the need for costly scaffolding, access equipment & contractor costs. Having the images on file allows us to record the condition of the roof/property and schedule preventative maintenance which is essential for proper block management. We would have no hesitation recommending Airwave Drones for property surveys, roof inspections and marketing purposes."
